What cross-border money transfer options are available on Wallex?

Wallex offers two main options for sending money internationally:

  1. Local Channel – this is a domestic clearing network used in various countries (e.g., ACH in the U.S., SEPA in Europe, RTGS in India, BI-Fast in Indonesia) that allows for direct transfers between banks within a specific region or country. 2. SWIFT – The SWIFT network is available for sending money to international banks worldwide, offering global reach for your cross-border transactions.

    1. SWIFT SHA (Shared Charges)
In a SWIFT SHA transaction, both the sender and the receiver share the transaction fees. The sender pays their bank’s charges, while the recipient pays fees incurred at their end and any intermediary bank fees.
    2. SWIFT OUR (Remitter Pays All)
In a SWIFT OUR transaction, the sender bears all costs of the transaction, including any intermediary or recipient bank fees. The recipient receives the full amount.

With Wallex, you can send money via the SWIFT channel to over 160 countries in 47 different currencies. Click this link to view the list of supported currencies: Wallex Currency Support.
