Documents Required for On-Boarding (Wallex Indonesia)

What documents do I need to prepare for onboarding?

The following documents are required for onboarding with Wallex Indonesia.

Do note that Indonesia-incorporated entities may also be onboarded with Wallex Singapore or Wallex Hong Kong. For more details on what this will require, you may refer to the corresponding Wallex Singapore or Wallex Hong Kong FAQ pages. 

 

Incorporation documents: 
  1. Deeds of Establishment (AKTA Pendirian) + Minister of Justice Approval (Keputusan Menteri Hukum Dan Hak Asasi Manusia Republik Indonesia) SK Kemenkumham (form of approval for AKTA) 
  2. Deed of adjustment related UUPT 2007 (AKTA PENYESUAIAN sesuai dengan UUPT 2007) + Minister of Justice Approval (Keputusan Menteri Hukum Dan Hak Asasi Manusia Republik Indonesia) SK Kemenkumham (form of approval for AKTA) 
  3. Article of Association (AKTA Perubahan) + Minister of Justice Approval (Keputusan Menteri Hukum Dan Hak Asasi Manusia Republik Indonesia) SK Kemenkumham (form of approval for AKTA) 
  4. Tax Identification Number of Company (NPWP Perusahaan)
  5. if the shareholder of client is a company, they should provide the latest article of Association and Minister of Justice Approval of Shareholder for majority shares of companies. 
      1. As an Example: if the company had more than 1 layer of shareholders, we able to receive shareholding chart. 
  6. Business License:
    1.   Business Master Number (NIB):
      1. Additional document needed to support KBLI 
      2. Low Risk: Only NIB 
      3. Medium To Low Risk: Certificated Standard
      4. Medium To High Risk: Certificated Standard 
      5. High Risk: Permit License
        1. Certificated Standard for Medium to Low and Medium to High-Risk Business
        2. Permit License for High-Risk business 

    2. If the company was registered as a payment company and have registered their website to KOMINFO, they must be providing PSE License. 

 

Identity Documents of Directors, Commissioner, and Authorised Persons as listed:  

    1. Only E-KTP is acceptable as ID for Indonesian citizens 
    2. Tax Identification Number (NPWP) for Beneficial Owner only 
    3. For foreigners, only Passport + Permit residence (KITAS/KITAP) 
    4. Proof of Address (utilities bill or statement letter) 

 

  1. Additional Documents Required:
    1. Financial Institution they must provide CDD Financial Institution and Financial Service License by regulator. 
    2. EDD statement for High-Risk Business. 
    3. Onboarding Form to be signed by a Director. 

 

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of all the documents required, regardless of whether your business in incorporated in Indonesia or overseas. We may request additional documents depending on the nature of the business.
