Why did my beneficiary receive a shortfall even though we used SWIFT OUR?
The SWIFT OUR instruction indicates that you you intend to cover all transfer charges so that your beneficiary receives the full payment amount. However, in certain currencies and countries, intermediary bank regulations may still result in a shortfall for your beneficiary.
While SWIFT OUR typically ensures that your beneficiary will receive the full amount, these intermediary banks may deduct fees according to their specific regulations.
