Important Updates to OCBC Malaysia Funding Account (Wallex Malaysia)

What is changing for Send Money (SM) funding on Wallex Malaysia? 

Wallex Malaysia is introducing OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad as a new funding account to replace the current RHB Bank funding account. Both accounts will be available during a transition period, after which RHB will be phased out.  

Why is Wallex moving from RHB to OCBC Malaysia?

The RHB funding process is fully manual. The integration with OCBC Malaysia is to enable an automated funding flow and reduce funding processing time.  

What are the OCBC Malaysia beneficiary details I should save?

How will this change affect what I see in Wallex? 

During the transition period, you will see two funding accounts (RHB and OCBC). After the transition, you will only see OCBC.  

What should I do during the transition period? 

You should update your saved funding details from RHB to your OCBC account to avoid failed or delayed funding after the phase-out.  

What happens if funds are accidentally transferred to RHB instead of OCBC? 

If funds are sent to RHB by mistake, do note that delays should be expected and funding will be processed manually. Please reach out to your Account Manager for further assistance.
