The Account Confirmation Letter is used in collection scenarios to verify that you are the rightful virtual account holder with Wallex.
It serves as a formal confirmation that your collection account is active, valid, and authorised to receive funds on your behalf.
Counterparties or remitting institutions may request this document to ensure that the account details are accurate and belong to the intended beneficiary of the payment.
- When will I need an Account Confirmation Letter?
You will require this letter when:
- A counterparty needs to confirm the validity of a Wallex collection account before sending funds
- Required during sender bank checks to confirm virtual account ownership and its relationship to the intended recipient
- How do I download my Account Confirmation Letter?
- Log in to the Wallex App.
- Go to Collections
- Locate the relevant collection account based on currency and provider
- Click Download Account Confirmation to generate and download the letter (choose the page range to print/download as PDF depending on the language required)
- The letter will then be generated and downloaded as a PDF.
